An interactive Counties’ networking forum was held at the Expo grounds for the Kenyan delegation to showcase their unique county products to the Kenyan diaspora and other Expo visitors.
Addressing the audience, KNCCI 2nd Vice President and National Irrigation Authority Director Ms. Fatma Elmaawy encouraged all businesses to become members of the Chamber or its chapters across all counties for specialized trade support to venture into the international market. She emphasized that through an MOU signed with the Council of Governors, the Chamber has supported business liquidity and recovery in all 47 counties during the covid 19 pandemic.

A representative from the diaspora emphasized that UAE hosts a vibrant and organized Kenyan diaspora that already understands the GCC market. He pointed out that the diaspora was ready and willing to support Kenyans wishing to penetrate this market with linkages and networks. He also alluded that the diaspora sought to invest back home and would be happy to partner with Kenyan businesses to set up in Kenya.
